AT 21, the dreaded “rich man malady” diabetes entangles his strong, majestically youthful body.
AT 83, his heart loses its stream. It stops.
For 62 years, he lives a life with fire and enthusiasm, with love and care for family, relatives and friends, unknowingly to most, with the dreadful diabetes consuming his body and energy every minute of the day. Yet, he has lived thru it without complain, accept it squarely even with the prospect of needles puncturing every inch of his skin sunrise and sunset.
He face the pains and hardships. he did not complained. Did not surrender. In the end, it isn’t diabetes nor its complication that consumed him.
His heart just runs out of stream.
Strong, brave, compassionate he was.
My Dad.
