St. Therese Columbarium formally opened and blessed its newest addition – Les Jardin des Sts. Louis et Zélie Martin last October 1, 2022.

The formal opening coincided with the opening of the St. Thérèse Exhibit in the afternoon in honor of celebrating the Feast Day of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus.

Present during the event were the top executives of Magnificat Ventures Corporation (MVC), the engineers and contractors of the project, the manager of St. Peter Chapel – Newport, and the NCEA Head of Security. The blessing ceremony of Les Jardin des Sts. Louis et Zélie Martin (The Gardens of Sts. Louis and Zélie Martin) was presided over by His Eminence, Most Rev. Bishop Oscar Jaime L. Florencio.

Designed to be an economical alternative to the more costly traditional interment, each vault at the St. Thérèse Columbarium can accommodate up to four standard-sized urns.
